Hope you're wrong because with the good progress Minnesota's made with A.P.R. , Jones would have to have real awful grades and SAT scores for the U not to slide him in there.
 

I'm so tired of Jeff Jones. 1st off he doesn't have the grades as I understand it, so it's pointless spending this much time worrying about him. 2nd, if he's watching us at 8-2, showing tangible progress, running the ball effectively, in our new stadium & he still isn't sure he wants to play here then why bang our heads against a brick wall?

Agree. How sweet would it be to get this program to a point where the majority of local top dogs didn't even seriously consider out-of-state options?

I guess I'm confused. Are people not allowed to criticize your hypocrisy in much the same way that you jump on inconsistencies from other posters? I'll hang up and listen.

Don Dpod doesn't like being fact-checked because it turns out he gets it wrong a lot. He also cannot stand the fact that people now call him out on it. In his mind he's a genius for picking arguments apart, but we're all horrible people when someone realizes he's off base. Dpod didn't realize he wasn't as smart as he thought. Now he cannot handle the truth about his intellect nor the hypocrisy of what he does, so all he can do is lash out. Notice how he keeps coming back at people. He doesn't have the will to stay away because he's so full of pride. Everyone has insecurities, but he is just now coming to grips with how insecure he truly is.

Though he could take criticism and admit he was wrong without looking like a child. So that's probably not the cause.
 



Dpo responds to other people's posts because he thinks he's providing "facts." When others respond to his posts and prove him wrong, they are stalking him.

It's really funny. If I respond to Don Dpod in anyway, I'm stalking him. However, as has been pointed out he responds to me immediately. Moreover, he says he has the right to respond to people who respond to him, yet, other people cannot respond to his response, otherwise they are stalking him.

In other words, Don Dpod wants the ability to dissect any post he wants and respond to any post he wants without question. However, if people dissect his posts or respond to him, they're stalking him.

His skin is unbelievably thin.
 

First off Dpodoll68 is a great contributor to this site. Gopherguy0723? Not so sure.

Next JJ would not redshirt. He would be our #1 RB next year. Little doubt.

Finally, he may or may not have grade issues. That is only speculation at this time.

You don't think they'd consider redshirting Jones? With Cobb being a senior and having a great junior year it certainly seems possible that Jones would redshirt. It wouldn't matter to me either way. I simply want the best players to play. Now, if they're about equal, it would be smart to redshirt Jones.

I think we could use Jones and Cobb. 1A and 1B. I think Edwards will be a factor next year as well. Mainly I think Jones would be our best back and he would be better in '15, '16, and '17 if he played in '14.

#1 back next year? not so sure about that, he may be talented we will have Cobb and Kirkwood both will be seniors who have each rushed for over 900 yards and then Roderick who will be a junior and has over 600 career yards rushing and would have more without that injury, JJ may and probably is the most talented of those guys but he will be a true freshman and still has a lot of things he needs to do to be our #1 back, Cobb, Kirkwood and Roderick all gained at least 15 pounds from the time they were in high school to now, Jeff can definitely do the same with him only being 200 right now and then course there are the other things like pass blocking etc.

You honestly think ISU and Mizzou are bad schools with terribly low admission standards? Come on. The U, and both of these schools, pretty much have the same standards, at least when it comes to players recruited on athletic offers.
