Yea, I got your meaning. With only 8 schools left, most of the schools have only a handful of scholarships available, if we still call it a scholarship these days. Either way, are 150 players going to fit into the 240 total roster spots for those 16 teams? Let's say each takes 4 players. That takes up 64 players out of 150 (a mythical number) and leaves 86 up for grabs if the best players skewed towards those 16 "top" schools. Minnesota alone needs at least 9 of those remaining players. I guarantee that all the other schools will prevent Minnesota from getting our fair share of the top talent. I think we would be extremely fortunate to pick up 6 transfers. Does anyone here have the actual number of available players currently?
