Immediate playing time replacing Kalkbrenner, they've produced NBA players well and Buffet money are all a big pull. I'd bet Creighton, not having to rev split for Football, is going to rise quite a bit in the coming years.

Rutgers' freshman center, Lathan Sommerville, hit the portal. This guy played in the shadows of the two heralded freshmen this season but I liked him and thought he had potential. He's certainly big enough. He was also an 86% free throw shooter. He's from the Peoria area so we're a lot closer to home than Rutgers.

Payne made it very clear he's after 1 thing, money. He's never coming back here. Not that I wouldn't take him per se, but he also doesn't fit Niko's game plan at all. Can't shoot, can't dribble, can't make FT.

He can score but not exactly a team player from the 3 games I’ve seen him play….he also wasn’t real interested in playing D.
