I think Fitz can get MSU to the middle tier of the B1G at least. He understands B1G football, now has better resources than he's ever had, and will be very motivated. In a conference where PJ, Ferentz and Bielema have all had varying degrees of success I see no reason why he cant.I like Fitz...I think he was a very solid coach for a school that he loves. There is a reason they went after him for the hazing (I have no interest in litigating that) despite being the prodigal son. It was becoming obvious the system was peetering out and cfb was changing. Sucks cause schools like NW need coaches like that but cfb doesn't care.
MSU won't have the patience so he better hit the ground running and be squeeky clean.

They were always going to get a lateral move at best from Franklin, which is why it was dumb to fire him.
