I'm sure Motzko was much more demanding of Pitlick than all of the other players on the roster. He obviously had a very tight relationship with his teammates, too.Pitlick transfers to Mankato. Ya, he hated Motzko.
I have to give you credit. You are the master of finding something to complain about. What next? Complaining about the size of the popcorn kernels at Mariucci?Ya, that is ridiculous. 4 players wearing the C means you couldn't find one worthy enough of wearing the C.
Might be your dumbest take of all time.Ya, that is ridiculous. 4 players wearing the C means you couldn't find one worthy enough of wearing the C.
I actually kind of agree with him for a change.Might be your dumbest take of all time.
I think it's strange but captains are elected by the players so if that's how they see it I really don't care.People that know hockey are all laughing at the decision. Doesn't surprise me that those with maroon and gold glasses are trying to act like it's somehow a good decision.
The coach needs to not give in to the players on everything and surely it's not just the players voting. Say there is going to be one captain and let them elect and then roll with that. Maybe two Cs is okay. 4 is not okay.I think it's strange but captains are elected by the players so if that's how they see it I really don't care.
The irony of your commentary is that you're so fixated on not being a homer that you're just as incapable of being objective as the rest of us.
Why? I have been on teams with 4-5 captains. No problem at all. Everybody was a good leader and their teammates wanted them to be recognized for that. There are coaches who make the entire senior class captains. And that can work well. Theory is that by picking one or two, you are taking the load of responsibility off the rest of the senior class and putting it on a couple of guys. Either way, it's a ridiculous take to just assume that if you have "too many" captains then you don't really have a qualified one.I actually kind of agree with him for a change.
I think I know hockey extremely well and I am not laughing.People that know hockey are all laughing at the decision. Doesn't surprise me that those with maroon and gold glasses are trying to act like it's somehow a good decision.
In what, high school? Why? I have been on teams with 4-5 captains. No problem at all. Everybody was a good leader and their teammates wanted them to be recognized for that. Yes, in high school. Does that somehow mean it's magically different? In what, high school?
Taking a load of responsibility off? What are they, ten years old? Someone should want to lead. When something happens, leaders step up and talk to the group. Or go talk to the ref.
Watch, all the Cs will just look at each other when stuff goes down this year.
Too many cooks. I may be wrong on this but multiple captains and multiple assistant captains speaks to me like there is not a true leader. Maybe that's fine and it works out but to me, kind of like having 2 QB's in football. Can work but rarely does. Time will tell. I, like most, have no idea whether it will work well or not. Just my opinion. Why? I have been on teams with 4-5 captains. No problem at all. Everybody was a good leader and their teammates wanted them to be recognized for that. YupBased on practice lines here are my forward line predictions
1 Ziemer-Moore-Snuggy
2 Wood-Huglen-Lamb
3/4 Hendrickson-Pahlsson-Nevers
3/4 Falloon/Mittelstadt-Clark-Kurth
Ziemer instead of Wood on line one so someone is there to do the dirty work Moore and 81 wont
At the very most, like very most, people who know hockey might have thought something like “huh, that’s a lot of captains.” Anyone that is laughing or having any intense reaction to this needs to seek guidance from a mental health professional.People that know hockey are all laughing at the decision. Doesn't surprise me that those with maroon and gold glasses are trying to act like it's somehow a good decision.
