It’s almost time for people to enter the portal looking for greener pastures. Or hopefully, snowy destinations.

This can be the place to enter the peeps we all hope can boost the team to new heights.

Unlike football there has been almost no action during the season but that will all change very soon.

So far, i have only heard of an untangled freshman PG from New Mexico State entering after they cancelled their season.

Cal PG Joel Brown has entered the portal as a graduate transfer. Brown, a 247 four-star out of Canada in 2019, was offered by the Gophers.

I hope not. Bad numbers all around. Terrible 3 pt shooter, career 49% FT percentage and career 1.5 assist/turnover.

California has just been so bad it feels like all of the guys that come out have more potential than they've shown.

Last resort type of backup PG?

I saw a California condor once.

No realli! She was Karving her initials on the moose with the sharpened end of an interspace toothbrush given her by Svenge—her brother-in-law— an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian movies: "The Hot Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Molars of Horst Nordfink"...

After January 2023 one can only enter the portal during certain times during the year (I know grad teansfers are exempt). For Basketball, it opens the Monday after selection Sunday. It closes two months from that day.

There is late year period too. Don’t recall the dates.

Haven't seen enough of Brown to have an opinion.

But when you have back-to-back last place finishes in the B1G I wouldn't anticipate transfers with any other great options will choose you. So, yeah, they should be looking at literally everyone.

Mrs USAF has indicated she's leaning toward entering the portal. She has her eye on NIL cash and "more minutes playing her preferred position."

Rumor has it Mrs USAF really was hoping for a Gophers run to the championship game and @Bad Gopher wearing nothing but his Gopher sock, but since that opportunity shriveled up perhaps you still have a chance?

With Henley apparently entering the transfer portal, it’s time for Ben to start all over again. More misery next year until Coyle shows some spine and ends this nightmare.

I think you need a better reference. Google "Verbal Commits Transfers."

According to that site, there are 159 players in the transfer portal right now. There's a bit of a lag on Verbal Commits so there likely are more who have entered. They also seem slower to update at certain times (like the weekend).

Central Michigan guard Kevin Miller plans to enter the transfer portal. Miller, a Chicago native who played two seasons at CMU, played in four games this season before a season-ending foot injury. The staff will have familiarity with Miller, who had 19 points, 7 boards and 2 assists in a 68-60 loss to the Gophers in November.

I believe he had a foot injury though and only played four games. That might take a little luster away from his recruitment. He's certainly worth taking if he's healthy but the last thing this team needs is another convalescent.

I like your realistic attitude about the scope of our recruiting. A few people still don't seem to understand that, as a perceived destination, we're closer to Biloxi than Maui.

The directors of the firm hired to
continue the credits after the other
people had been sacked, wish it to
be known that they have just been
sacked.

The credits have been completed
in an entirely different style at great
expense and at the last minute.
