Hard to understand Boise State. Avalon was the conference coach of the year last year. He bleeds “Boise Blue”. Must be some off the field issue.

they're 5-5 this year and 22-14 in his tenure after a prior coach (Harsin) never lost more than 4 games. Boise had lost 5 games once since 1998 prior to his tenure starting (the year Chris Petersen moved on). That team has been incredibly consistent. They aren't going to tolerate the step back

Ben is going to be hiring his 6th oC since /014 and is 4-16 vs. OSU/ Michigan.

I wonder how short his leash is? His buyout is apparently $64M.

They have one the worst Is in the P5 world- their QB is a five star - why would he stick around for this garbage?

My daughter is a frosh there. Saw a game on a visit earlier this year and got the impression that you describe. This dude was not impressing the fan base.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the rest of the staff. I recall that it was initially thought that the other assistant coaches would be purged after the season since they were mostly a part of Fitz's "tainted" staff. Wonder if that's still in the works?

While that fan base May feel that way right now, I don’t know that they have the dollars to pay off another coach.
