I don't know what to think of Michigan. Obviously they have talent and do look good frequently yet they are only 6-6. The announcers said that they didn't play as many bench players as Florida so maybe fatigue did contribute to their defeat in a double overtime game. I don't want to take anything away from Florida because they looked pretty good too.
 


Florida could have won it by a few in regulation. They missed 10 free throws and couldn’t inbound the ball twice in the last 30 seconds.
 

Hey Ray, so much for "Weakling Wednesday"!!!!

Doesn't get much better than the triple header tonight.

Pretty loaded slate for a Wednesday night before Christmas. Also, not a great game, but Xavier @ St Johns isn't bad either. Those top 2 are great games. Big night for the ACC. If Duke and UNC both lose, league could only have one ranked team come next poll release.

UNC-Oklahoma should be a good game.
 

Duke going for the sweep of the Baylor-Duke-Michigan State triangular (using a wrestling term).

I didn’t see the whole game but their defense and rebounding was inconsistent at best. They have similar issues as we do at point guard. Good ball handling, but too small to guard average size guards. That hurt them at the end of the game.

Yeah, I get a kick out of it. They are literally the same size AND from the same metro.

Nova with a big comeback against Creighton. Tied at 58 with 90 seconds to go.
 

OT.
Questionable call at the end. I thought Creighton didn't get the shot off before the shot clock reached zero. Nova should have had the ball with just over 6 seconds on the clock.
Instead Creighton gets the ball with 3.1 on the clock. A bit of home cooking.

We might have the toughest game today.
 







Some good games today. Miami of Ohio hits three 3s in the last minute.....including one at the buzzer to beat Vermont 70-69. Drake and UAB about to go into OT after DeVries hits a three at the buzzer that bounces off the front of the rim and into the backboard before falling in. Wild for that shot to land.
