#2/2 Gophers vs. #8/7 Wolverines

Gophers look either hung over or they have cement in their skates.
 






Did Minnesota do anything to start selling out these games again or did this just happen organically? Looks like a WCHA game
 





Absolutely hate the way they've played through two periods.
 


Had every opportunity to score on the many powerplays. Michigan outskates the Gopher and gets an easy goal. Every time Michigan gets in the offensive zone they skate circles around the Gophers it's mind boggling.
 



Sloppy game and not getting a lot of help for our goalie.

You mean disorganized, undisciplined, and appearing to not want to work. The number of soft 1 handed passes to open ice is maddening. Plus Cooley has really been trying to pick handle even more than he usually does.

Their forward depth and speed is better than the Gophers.
 









Any playoff game against Michigan or St Cloud will be 50/50 odds at best. If the Gophers had the forward depth they lost maybe they'd be at another level.
 

I think still number 1 in the pairwise so in a good position still and need to start sweeping again.
 

What a great series. So much talent on both teams, playing at a high level.
