They had a "Koi Pond" in the student section the last home game.
Even bigger deal with 18 teams now in the conference.Perich as a true freshman First Team All Big Ten honoree is in some rare air. Pretty sure the Gophers have never had a 4-time First Team All Big Ten football player (freshman ineligibility made it impossible back in the day). Doubt Perich will stay for 4 years given the path he is on. Think Eslinger was last 3-time First Team All Big Ten player, but not 100% on that.

Darrell Thompson, 1986?Gopher Historians -
When is the last time we had a first team All-Conference true Freshman?
And Wisconsin with a big, fatIowa with 3 first teamers on offense.
I was thinking this the other day. Who was wisconsin's good player this season? Someone you thought was dangerous with the ball or had to make sure was blocked? I don't think they had anyone. And Wisconsin with a big, fat

I think Darrell Thompson is the only one. Laurence Maroney was 2003 Big Ten Freshman of the year, but did not make the first team.Gopher Historians -

Thanks and Koi’s keeping the right kind of company.I think Darrell Thompson is the only one. Laurence Maroney was 2003 Big Ten Freshman of the year, but did not make the first team.
And after Iowa's offense during the Nebraska game, I am not sure who should be under more scrutiny - the Iowa OC or the people who votedIowa with 3 first teamers on offense.
His lack of TD’s probably hurt his chances. Was hoping that Daniel Jackson might get a first team nod - hopefully can get some attention in the 2nd and 3rd team selections
Chez Mellusi who stopped playing mid year was their best guy, in my opinionI was thinking this the other day. Who was wisconsin's good player this season? Someone you thought was dangerous with the ball or had to make sure was blocked? I don't think they had anyone.
to me, probably Kekehuna on offense who they did an awful job of getting involved consistently. then probably wohler on defense i guess?Chez Mellusi who stopped playing mid year was their best guy, in my opinion
