1st Team Big Ten Offense and Defense.

Perich as a true freshman First Team All Big Ten honoree is in some rare air. Pretty sure the Gophers have never had a 4-time First Team All Big Ten football player (freshman ineligibility made it impossible back in the day). Doubt Perich will stay for 4 years given the path he is on. Think Eslinger was last 3-time First Team All Big Ten player, but not 100% on that.

Even bigger deal with 18 teams now in the conference.

And Wisconsin with a big, fat 🍩
I was thinking this the other day. Who was wisconsin's good player this season? Someone you thought was dangerous with the ball or had to make sure was blocked? I don't think they had anyone.

Exactly 😃

Fickell Forever🥳

Gopher Historians -

When is the last time we had a first team All-Conference true Freshman?
I think Darrell Thompson is the only one. Laurence Maroney was 2003 Big Ten Freshman of the year, but did not make the first team.

Thanks and Koi’s keeping the right kind of company.

Chez Mellusi who stopped playing mid year was their best guy, in my opinion

to me, probably Kekehuna on offense who they did an awful job of getting involved consistently. then probably wohler on defense i guess?

Very happy for Ersery and Lindenberg. Ersery was really good against some high end edge guys. I think that once Lindenberg got healthy (arm or shoulder was messed up until maybe USC), the defense improved a ton.
