I posted that I thought the defense wasn't that bad against Indiana and that the Hoosiers hit a number of tough 3's and played a great game. Tonight the 3's were wide open and the Gophers didn't have the crutch of trying to defend elite athletes like Yogi opening up the floor for shooters...THIS was a terrible game on both ends of the floor, but especially defensively. As someone put it in the game thread, Northwestern's ONLY shot at winning this game was burying a number of 3's...and the Gophers made that way too easy. Pitino should get a ton of heat for that as should the Seniors on this team that got punked on their home court AGAIN.
