What's Your Favorite College Football Stadium?

As a Duck I'm partcial to Autzen. Not a bad seat in the house, lots of energy, loud and you feel like you're right on the field. The fans bring it and believe they are an influencing factor in the game's outcome. One other one as a Duck, Husky Stadium is one of the most beautiful settings for a...

    Nebraska may cancel Spring game

If a guy is going to transfer do you want him on your squad? Get the right guys, do right by them and they will stay. At least one would hope so.

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yea, UCLA's bench may have been the second best team in the country in the early 70s. Still the Ducks took them down a few times. I'll share one UCLA story. The PIT (AKA Mac Court) was one hell of a home court. When the fans got going you could see the scoreboard that hung over the court start...

***OFFICIAL OREGON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Maybe we could slip Pritchard, Dillon Brooks,Freddie Jones and Greg Ballard into the building. I was an undergrad during the Dick Harter and Kamakazie Kids days.

    USC exodus

Actually, I think quite a few teams could by a QB and QB coach and definitely compete with USC in that area.

    USC exodus

Miller Moss was the SC QB up until a month ago, he'd thrown a lot of int's and they benched him putting the new transfer in as starter. He's started 4 games this year and yes he looked horrible, but Moss was playing catch with the opponents DBs. Tough spot for SC. From what I can tell, none of...

    USC exodus

Not at all. We did have a little problem when Chip Kelly was head coach. Something about paying an agent for Seastrunk RB. I don't remember the exact out come, but I believe Kelly headed to the Eagles shortly after. I learned a very long time ago as a small college bball player that things...

    USC exodus

Wasn't disagreeing, just that U$C hasn't been that dominate for a long time and when they were they had to bend the rules.

    USC exodus

Just a quick note: USC vs Oregon over the last 30 years.... Oregon 13 wins vs USC 7 and that includes the Carroll years and the cheating that went on during the Carroll years. Actually, one of those 7 USC wins was vacated due to that cheating.

Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

Ya know, ya gotta beat the best to be the National Champion, so lets not worry about the brackets so much. I just want to see my Ducks line up and take care of business, they will be fine if they do that.

All Things 2024-25 College Basketball Other Games Thread

I think that is sort of true. The last few years Dana has had to deal with a lot of injuries. Also, typically they finish strong primarily due to how they develop defensively. This year they seem to be about 2 months ahead of the usual... They are playing defense in Nov/Dec. very nice as a Duck...

    Gopher Softball 2025

I get what you are saying, however, if the B1G had added universities that were not highly competitive it would drag the conference down. The way to make the conference stronger is to have more strong teams in all sports.

    Congratulations Oregon

Yea, he lost all three games by exactly 3 points each time.

What's the "unfairness"? Sure I know you are talking about the "legacy" B1G teams, but I'm not sure what's unfair about those west coast schools.

    Congratulations Oregon

Yea, I'll believe we're in when the final playoff spots are officially announced. We are officially in the B1G Championship game, that's all we've accomplished so far. Next is the huskies and that's always a war. And Lanning is 0-3 vs the huskies, I think he'll want this one bad.

    THIS DAY IN GOPHER HISTORY

To be clear, Travis Cole played high school football at Lake Oswego HS in Oregon. He went the JUCO route and played at Foothills JC in California and transfered to Minnesota from Foothills. He was not a transfer from Oregon (typically a reference to the U of O).
