Con: Tulane ranked 17 with an 9-2 record after beating a bunch of nobody’s and losing to the only two power teams they played. I’d argue not only the gophers but nearly every other team ranked behind them beat better teams.

I don’t understand the negative viewpoint of this team. We just took #4 in the country to the wire and could have won had it not been for a terrible call against us and an untimely unforced fumble. The talent was there yesterday. It came down to just 2-3 plays.

Thought they tried to get a little too cute on that last td attempt otherwise pretty good game plan

If you have to do that then I hope Ben moves him to the bench instead when others are healthy.

Says nothing about where he should be placed. When you’re giving up open looks from 3 to a poor shooting team you’re bound to get long rebounds.

Go back and watch the first half again. He was one of the lazy ones out there.

Not sure he would be a walk-on on another Big10 team

For all the upper classmen on this team they do not appear to play like they are experienced.

Give me a break. He lost one good player to NIL (Hawkins) and one to the NBA. Payne was replaceable and disappeared multiple times last year. JOJ and Carrington were both sub par. In all one player got bought worth trying to keep.

I wasn’t as high on last year’s roster. Hawkins and Christy showed improvement. The others that left did not.

He’s got a better team where he’s at and can certainly get a better job than this one. It isn’t that we can’t do any better, it’s that he can.

I think there is little chance Medved comes here. Our NIL rules out pretty much anyone worthwhile. Maybe he loves MN and the school and wants to come no matter what but believe there’s little chance of that.

Not doing anything other than relying on DG says to me the coaches gave up. If that’s the case Ben can’t continue to coach here.

Anyone without rose colored glasses would have seen it. We all knew with our NIL we what we could get.

I’m not jumping off the bridge just yet but certainly looks like it could be a long season. Hoping this was an outlier and we’re mostly competitive in the Big10 maybe surprising one or two teams.

All but Johnson are the same as last year. Perhaps center isn’t the best place for Johnson?
