That dude plays defense.

It's more than just effort -- although I'm sure there's lots of that. It's in his blood. It's who he is. He just defends and defends and defends. He steals the ball instinctively. The dude had four steals in twenty minutes. And they were all legit steals. He will see a lot of game time.
 

I believe it is pronounced "o-doo-kuh-LAY"!
The TV announcers butchered it all night!
 


I noticed Odukale.
A few nice steals, generally followed by throwing the ball back to the opponent. A very tenuous dribble that will result in him being picked more often than we wish. Zero points scored.

Odukale brought the offense to a halt several times by dribbling too much. I hope BJ gets that corrected.
 

I like his defense; but, you can't have him on the floor with Fox as they both don't have an outside game so defense is just going to cave the lane.

I live in Long Beach, California and I have guessed right on Hispanic and Hawaiian names most of the time. But people are the final judge in (mis-) pronouncing their own names. That is why Sane24 is pronounced
SAHN-AY two-four.

You Long Beach people always do that. Just kidding. I worked there about 15 years ago. Pine street was fun but getting close to Compton was the real fun.

Great place. The bad thing is I only made it once.
 

I have watched him in 2 games and this guy does not have game. He has no confidence in his shot, always is short. No points coming from him, so once Cochran and Mitchell get on the court together Femi will be a fleeting memory.
TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT—— Ben start Asuma, take off the kid gloves, and let him play, try encouraging him to shoot and drive to the basket. He has the potential to be another Suggs, Also tell Parker Fox to shake himself and play the aggressive game he had when a d2 All-American. Fox is capable of double figures every night. The Gophers need to start clawing their way out of the North Texas rock bottom pit getting better each and every game, right now they are playing like a bunch of wimps, beaten before the game even starts. They have a month to make it happen, they need an Inglorious Basterds attitude, play non stop D, and score just enough for the win.

What good would playing Asuma do? If he shows potential, he's gone next year.
 

Gophers are not good!!!! Terrible shooting team, Garcia can’t finish through contact, guard play is bad!
