Most kids will wait to see all their opportunities before accepting a walkon opportunity so I'd consider it early but not unusual. The football team has a commit from a 2023 walkon as well.

She also picked up a Utah offer a few weeks ago and twitter follows arent the best indicator but the last coach to follow her was an Oregon assistant so big name schools were starting to look at her at least. Locking her up this early might be a bit of a gamble but I think its smart.

What if the recruit doesnt use social media? Just wait til signing day then? FWIW I've heard its a recruit from the west coast that doesnt have any social media accounts so who knows when we'll find out if thats actually true.

I like her upside, long athletic kid but gonna need some time to develop before she plays much at Utah. She also plays the same position as Heyer and Holloway who I think are better players. So time will tell but I dont think its a big loss. As far as keeping the recruitment low key some kids...

Its interesting Rutgers hasnt added more transfers just to fill their roster, they have 8 players right now.
