Definitely one of the first times I have been pulling for USC to win a game. Great comeback for another SEC defeat. 6-6 USC takes down 8-4 aTm. It just means more.

Sam Jackson decommits from Gophers again - going to Purdue

Looks like first and foremost the QB thing didn’t work out for him. Can he skate? Possible defenseman depth for St. Thomas?

Navy defense barely provided a speed bump for Oklahoma’s first possession. Interesting uniform choice for Navy: back in their Jolly Rogers theme that they wore in their big victory over Army.

Evidently, Kaliakmanis left for more NIL money

The PACMan table from Costco looks great in Kaliakmanis’apartment. It never could have happened without that NIL $$.

Kaliakmanis is soooooooo bad. It was so “Minnesota” for him to step it up against the Gophers

They took a whole segment out to show the layer of turf being laid down temporarily over the baseball turf, and showed turf flying. And that was long before Kaliakmanis nearly blew his crotch out. So maybe direct your questions at ESPN.

Rutgers K-State looks like both teams invested about the same amount of defensive preparation as you see in a typical NBA all-star game. Rutgers finally with a defensive pulse and an int just as I type that.

Turf flying up all over the place and guys sliding all around again at the rate bowl. That game should be boycotted by every unfortunate team invited to it. What a joke.

Looks like Rutgers is without their good RB but has the services of Athan Kaliakmanis tonight on the baseball diamond.

    Indifferent to Indiana, but.....

It is quite shocking how thoroughly the ESPN/SEC machine has doubled down and kept its “who got in” focus on Indiana even after all four first round playoff results. Indiana was a ONE LOSS B1G team and played in the closest first round game. It was a 10 point loss and although they were...

All four playoff winners were on home field

One thing that came out of the first round across all four games is how much the home teams appreciated hosting the games and how electric the atmosphere was despite the fact none of the games were nail biters. First round on campus was a resounding, thundering success. But yeah, let’s “fix”...

    SEC armor - hypothetical results

“I don’t want to hear about… wins” Herbstreit and McDonough selling out to ESPN to this degree saddens me because I have enjoyed them doing college football for many years. As long as this only ever stays as just talk, I can live with it. But if a 1 loss B1G team ever fails to make the...

All four playoff winners were on home field

Definitely a hard no for me on even more neutral site games. If you are going to play the first round at neutral sites benefitting warmer climate teams, you might as well just say all games hosted by southern teams to make it even harder for northern teams. Can you imagine having your team...

    SEC armor - hypothetical results

The preseason rankings evolve and by the time the committee does meat, they usually aren’t far off from what has been developing with the rankings. I’m not talking about Indiana’s ranking. I’m talking about the way the SEC teams ride their early rankings and that is how the sec folk always...

    SEC armor - hypothetical results

I’ve long witnessed how the preseason rankings are so heavy in SEC teams, that it becomes difficult for those teams to drop out of the rankings. Rank em high, let them blow through digestible non conference opponents, and then let them mostly maintain their rankings when they lose because any...

Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

Take it any way you’d like. He certainly was disparaging Indiana but he went way past that to thoroughly poke at the Big 10 as a whole. Interpret this as you wish: “I don't understand why there's this presumption that the Big Ten is so much better than the ACC or Big 12. I'm not sure what...

Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

Then you didn’t listen to what he said. His comments literally went into detail about how he doesn’t understand how the B1G is any better than the ACC or XII. He more than hinted that the B1G isn’t very good so it shouldn’t be getting multiple playoff teams - spots that could/should go to guess who

Wow! ESPN...I mean ABC taking every opportunity to tell us the B1G is over-rated.

That wasn’t what I was talking about. At all. I was referring to his comments about how average the B1G conference is. But now that you mention it, a one loss B1G team absolutely belongs in the playoff.

OSU’s passes into the end zone look NFL-ish in quality and athleticism. It looks like they have successfully moved beyond the speed bump at the end of the second quarter.
