All Things 2021 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

He’s been playing great despite the reins put on the offense by Zim- wish Kc would get vaxxed but that’s a completely different topic.

Gee- look what happens when you allow Kirk to operate with both running and passing plays being an option.

All Things 2021 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

The vikes OL is not good enough to enable them to be successful if they’re emasculated into running only- they allow Kirk to throw the ball on the drive ending in a punt and this is all over. Can we please dump Zimmer who has done this in 3 games this year? Ridiculous.

If it was caused by laceration from a fractured rib the damage to the lung pleura could take that long to heal and for the air leak to cease.

Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

There are EMR systems (EPIC being the most common out west) that allow sharing of medical information between health care entities (using Care Everywhere). I imagine that one has to agree to allow the sharing of info - although it’s pretty much universally accepted by patients being cared for in...

When will Zim quit taking the foot off the gas and losing/nearly losing games they should easily have won. I think that’s what Cousins said to his with the “celebratory” forearm shiver after the winning kick

Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

From what PJ has said in the past most of the players were vaccinated a long time ago. Vaccine related myocarditis in the young usually occurs within days of the vaccine in our experience and others who have published on it.

Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

No- what I’m saying is the incidence of troponin leak from the myocardium is more common in teens and young adults in our population after they have had the immunization than resultant from an actual infection.

Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

Our experience out here would agree that myocarditis in “kids” 21 and under is more common with the vaccine although still rare- and usually recover pretty quickly. We have seen a couple presumably related to the illness itself though.

Obviously not but if he collapsed and hit his head, or complained of some neck discomfort etc it’s atypical for kids/young adults with similar histories to NOT be in a collar when they arrive in the ED.

Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

If he came of the field without apparent injury there are multiple things that could have arisen that led to him collapsing/fainting- too many to speculate on.

    Postgame Observations

There is zero data that it would result in improved QB play and would likely result in the maddening throwing off the back foot style that ZA showed during his tenure as starter. You just had a good qb performance so why would you want to start a QB controversy that could kill a team.
