If this ruling stands it will be interesting to see how many players are able to get some extra eligibility because of it. Makes sense that Pavia is trying to stay in college as long as possible because his NFL prospects are none so he is trying to make as much as he can in college.

At this point anything is possible. All we know for sure if that this current insanity is not sustainable long term. Hopefully the revenue sharing that goes into place will help, but the whole thing is a mess.

I agree that college football is unlikely to ever be a true threat to the NFL. The current models in college football are unsustainable and without some regulation/sanity it will be far more likely to just implode then to become a true competitor with the NFL because most schools can't afford...

At this point it seems like anytime a player challenges an existing rule they win. Someone is going to try and find a way to transfer in season with immediate eligibility it is only a matter of time.
