MAC's Industrial just in Northeast not far from DT has the sound up and usually a good crowd. Sallys like Irish said is good. It's big, there will be atmosphere, and usually good beer specials.

Boo is a great player. This year had some of the better guards in the league in recent years. Not a great game today and definitely the defense needs serious work. When a guard gets penetration like great guards sometimes do, the rotation and help defense is really bad. If Carrington can grow...

I came away very impressed with OSU’s starting point guard. Thorton I believe is his name and he is strong and skilled. I imagine Mn kid’s playing time will have to be earned.

We finally seem to have an offense with ball movement, effective pick and rolls, a good point guard, and shooters. I think this team is good enough to win games in the tourney if they can make it.

Am I the only one who is kind of bugged by Muss’style? I am hoping this young team with a pretty good point guard can finish strong and Ben can build this. He did inherit a depleted roster and I would also say the offense and designed plays are better than Pitino’s offense.

Good guys won and we get to see Penix and that offense (unfortunately minus Johnson) vs the best defense in the country.

I agree with both of you. Most years I could give or take the playoffs, but today was amazing.

Penix has a 56% completion on passes 30 yards or longer. Watching him is a treat. His gets rid of the ball quickly and with a compact motion. He also has a great Oline and skill players around him, but he throws guys open and is good at moving in the pocket. I would love to see the Vikings take him.

The Purdue game was the only one where I thought the dline really underperformed. Even in that game had Lindenberg or a legit starting LB corp have played, the Gophers would have forced a few punts.
