PP: Six bold predictions for the 2025-26 Timberwolves season (Minnesota wins 53 games, falls in Round 2 to Denver)

TSJ has always been a scorer. He's good on D too. In limited action, TSJ shot 36% from 3 last season. Clark 43%. If Juzang couldn't make it for 3 years on one of the worst teams in the NBA, he's not going to be counted on for depth on one of the deepest teams in the NBA. He has a 2-way...

Good team analysis and why I think the Wolves should be a top 2-3 team in the west. OKC could also have injury issues with Jalen Williams starting the season injured and Chet has been injury prone. I don't think they are a lock to repeat or even finish 1 in the west. I'm not very concerned...

Minnesota Golden Gophers in the NFL - 2025

I disagree. He's a freak physically and already has 7 sacks.

    Gronowski Presser

I also watched him quite a bit at SDSU and the quicker Leidner comparison is good. I think Mitch was a little better passer though.

I disagree that we have no starting caliber PG, we do, and that't didn't prevent us from making the WCF the last two seasons. Plus we have many options to play that role. I completely disagree that other top contenders made serious upgrades. You're ignoring what they lost, and the age/injury...

You're banking on a lot of old and often injured guys to stay healthy and play well to have the Wolves in a play in game after back to back western conference finals trips. I think the Wolves are easily a top 4 team in the West. Possibly top 2.

It looks like his hand/arm is still underneath the ball. You cannot definitively see the ball on the ground at that time.

    Gophers / Iowa lines

They have a kickoff return TD and a punt return TD so that is not a surprise. The punt return came against 0-7 UMass and the kickoff return came against Rutgers in maybe the easiest kickoff return you'll ever see. He was never touched. It was an abomination by Rutgers.

    Gophers / Iowa lines

Koi Perich is back on kick and punt returns the majority of the time for a reason. It's only a matter of time until he breaks one.

You can never see the ball clearly hit the ground in that view.

    Gophers / Iowa lines

The line on this game is as insane as the Nebraska one was. The metrics just don't like the Gophers so far this season so I can see why. Iowa is about where Nebraska was last week. But that's why they play the games.

There's not a view showing the ball hitting the ground on that play.

Wentz threw a pick 6, that was the difference in the game alone. On top of that he completely failed in the red zone. If those things don't happen, the Vikings win easily, and a couple of long 3rd down conversions by the Eagles are meaningless.

PP: Six bold predictions for the 2025-26 Timberwolves season (Minnesota wins 53 games, falls in Round 2 to Denver)

The Wolves are going to be just fine this year. Basketball, more than any other sport is about cohesion. OKC added 1 solid player to their roster after getting bounced in the 2nd round a year ago. Then they dominated their way to a NBA championship. They just let their team grow up. The Wolves...

So what if Wentz had a bunch of yards playing from behind all day today? He lost the game for them today. The Eagles just lost to Bo Nix, taken after JJ McCarthy last year, and Jaxon Dart a rookie QB starting his 3rd game.

Says who? Brosmer can make simple throws to the flat and isn't stupid enough to make several of the rookie mistakes Wentz made today. Average QB play beats the Eagles today.

Then start Brosmer. The Vikings aren't going anywhere with Wentz at QB this season. The only reason to ever start Wentz was to avoid 'rookie' mistakes. Yet Wentz did nothing but make rookie mistakes today.
