Ah yeah Darious did do really well catching the ball! Valid point. I do think though that's more of a symptom if you're relying on that. Passes to the RB are fun / good calls in situations but if that's a key part of your offense it probably means you're not doing well in several other areas ;)

I question what Darious would have been able to do with this OL ... they really struggled to block for a long time, still do, can't get any kind of push consistently on a run that requires it. As it is it seems like we have to rely on Ijeboi going where the defense doesn't expect / away from...

I thought MSUs qb last game Alessio Milivojevic was interesting in our game, dude could sling it / make things happen in the face of a lot of pressure.

Also drake to see the open man ... had a few of those late in the season. We beat MSU, but man that game could have been over before it was eventually over.

I don't have a problem with a middle of the road rating. Drake showed a lot more promise for a freshman earlier in the year. As the season has gone on his freshman status seemed to be more ... present. Still happy to have him as a QB, I'm hopeful for Drake as a prospect, but maybe a little...

I think people will take the job. I do think what value you place on your buyout might be something you discount ... and that could impact how competitive LSU is getting someone who is in demand. More so in a year where there are openings galore.
