***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN BATTLE FOR THE LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Offense is looking better but not moving fast enough to come back even if they keep this up and the defense keeps Michigan from scoring for the rest of the game.

Great catch and transition to the field goal team but why would you throw the ball short of the endzone there? If you're just going to throw it up in traffic, why not go for the touchdown?

In field goal range now, what are we going to do next to stay off the board?

If throwing behind the LOS before the penalty didn't work, why did we think it would work right after the penalty?

On track for back to back 3+ possession losses against rivals. If this isn't the time to make major changes, when will be?

Why did we wait until 10 seconds left on the play clock to break the huddle on the punt?

Not sure we'll score today unless it comes from defense or special teams, the offense looks really bad. Bad play calls and bad execution.

Wouldn't have been an issue if we didn't make substitutions when they didn't.

It's a shame they didn't have Fleck turned facing the team before they run out. Cool to see the band in the right formation though.

RandBall: An NIL 'salary cap' (and floor) for big-time college sports? What do you think?

I don't see how an agreement between competitors to limit how much money their employees can get paid or make from sponsors would go over well with courts. If the NIL numbers we've seen around are anywhere close to true, I can't see a competitive floor working for public schools. I'm sure a lot...

    CFP predictions

Looking at the selection criteria they say they look to pick the best 4 teams, not the 4 teams most likely to win on a particular date. Florida State's injured QBs are part of the team. It doesn't say anything about excluding players with injuries. Even if this helps ratings in the short-term...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT OHIO STATE, LET'S SHOCK THE WORLD IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

10 minutes into the game and already playing to not get embarrassed instead of to win. I wonder why we're struggling with NIL. What company wouldn't want to sponsor that?

Shama: Voices Need to Speak up for College Football Parity

College football is a business. The Alabamas, Georgias, and Ohio States pull in much more money than the Minnesotas. If there was enough talent to go around it would make sense to balance things out but there's not anywhere close to enough talent to fill even the power 5 teams with solid...

FOS has obtained audio of the heated exchange between Lane Kiffin and DT DeSanto Rollins after Rollins' 'mental health break.’ $40MM lawsuit

I'd imagine most coaches would respond similarly if a player skipped practices and meetings due to an injury without staying in contact with coaches and medical staff. The way some people have reported it makes Kiffin look bad but this seems like a reasonable response.

PJ has to be on the hot seat right ? (nevermind ive been told to accept being mediocre when were good enough to be mediocre)

Every other team has the same rule. It's been around for two and a half years, more than long enough to take advantage of it. Some teams are using it to add star players, we used it to add a RB who can't hold onto the ball and a WR who keeps dropping the ball.

Fleck would need to be involved in a major scandal to lose his job before next year.

Good call to punt, we're in good shape after you add in the imaginary points for winning time of possession.

The NCAA has opened an investigation into No. 2 Michigan over possible rule-breaking around in-person scouting of opponents

Isn't punishing the accused without due process the standard in academia? Michigan themselves punished a student for much worse than what Harbaugh did while ignoring huge pieces of evidence and would have ruined his life if he didn't sue them and get them to drop their findings.
