I would be thrilled if he hired Megan Duffy. She's won 20+ games each year as a head coach except the year after covid, finishing 17-4. She would be a big get.

I responded in another thread but Johnston took the job at Green Bay, was on his way to the announcement and he reneged on the job and stayed at South Dakota State. I would be thrilled if he came here but in my mind there’s a near 0% chance.

I worry about the freshman staying now. 😢

Johnston is not leaving South Dakota State. He was going to leave for Green Bay about 15 years ago and he backed out. He’s a jackrabbit until retiring IMO.

Any chance Katie’s older sister spends her senior season with the Gophers? That could be fun.

Turnovers were killer this year. Young team or not you have to take care of the ball. Getting a transfer in Sophie Hart should help the Gophers inside but they have to all make strides from year 1 to year 2 if they want to improve.

I would infer Whalen saying the freshman insist they are not leaving means she is coming back. Like Whalen as coach or not she has 1 last season (imo) to keep her job. Get it done Lindsay.
