Minnesota’s Corey Hetherman new defensive coordinator at Miami

This sucks!!! We had a good thing going and our team was really coming together. I was so excited about next year and this puts a damper on it for sure. Fleck has had some great hires on the defensive side of he ball. Hope he countinues to bring in good talent and I hope MN opens up the...

PJ was hired 8 years ago today. What grade would you give the Fleck era?

1.) Leadership Development: A - The U of M Football program seems to develop healthy young men that impact the community and others around them. They are all class!! If there is a reason the whole state should get behind Fleck this should be it. He has created a culture that...

    Wisconsin Badgers are idiots

It is hard for me to believe that in the NIL space that teams do not have language that makes sure they are protected if a player decides to leave. There have been to many kids who have come and gone. I get WI being bitter because they gave the kid money and he then wanted to leave 2 weeks...

What’s needed make a step up?

1.) QB ply that is at least on par with 2024 2.) OL play that is at a minimum as good as 2023 3.) WR play that is like 2019 - at least close - getting open and making plays. 4.) Defense that is like it has been for the last 3-4 years, with someone rising up as a "Big moment" sack guy.

STrib: Analysis: Gophers get plenty of help from youngsters in bowl game, setting up team for future

Lindsay playing would have made us feel better and no one else. I am so glad we have a couple easy games to start the season. We have a perfect place to see what each QB can do. I really think with our schedule 2025 can be special.

    B1G vs SEC

SEC just means more ........... cheating, drugs, drag racing, skipping class, bag men, looking the other way, refs that are willing to impact outcomes of games and excuses. B1G - just mean more ..... money, academics, player development and team play,

    Other Bowl Games Thread

Would be crazy to see back to back years with all (currently) B1G teams in the final. Hope it happens, but could easily see either PSU or OSU lose. OSU is great when motivated and winning by the score they did may make them overconfident and soft against TX. PSU is better than ND, but not...

    Wisconsin Badgers are idiots

Problems with Wisconsin: 1.) The offensive identity they choose did not work with the base of players they had, so they lost some of the base players and could not contend with Ohio States of this world to bring in top tier WR's and QB's to make a quick transition. WI does not have take...

    SEC armor - hypothetical results

I am liking the results. Feel like they need to see how this plays out and give it another decade.

If you interested in seeing the ending of the Bethel game. Seems like some close calls really helped out their opponent. You can see what they called a hold - it is a shame - had no impact on play. Looks like Bethel kid was helping out and fell down and hence the jersey grab. Most...

Gophers offer Wisconsin transfer WR Trech Kekahuna

Great way for Fleck to help them use up their NIL. Send WI trash an offer with conditions, enough for them to post it and then see WI pay out, all to get someone who is no more than a middle of the pack guy.

Georgia Tech QB Zach Pyron Transfers to Minnesota

We have a coach in PJ who continues to learn and get better. He knows that he has a good QB in Drake, but also knows he can't afford to trust someone as much as he did AK. When AK faultered there was no viable back up and we were stuck. A really good team made to look average by bad QB...

CFP Playoff Committee shoehorns in Alabama at the last minute for the second year in a row ... this year with 3 losses...

Lets be honest - greatness is more about message than about what one actually produces. ESPN/CBS - for years benefited from SEC being marketed as the premier FB conference and the fact they only had to provide in in 1 or 2 games played on their home turf. Fox - gained by having the B1G as #1...

    Has Minnesota Surpassed Wisconsin?

Minnesota is better as a football team (winning 3 of 4) and we are better at developing talent (more players going to NFL). However, what we lack compared to Wisconsin is a larger national brand. Wisconsin has years of being relevant. It is a assumed they will be a top half B1G team, even...

Know Your Opponent: Penn State Nittany Lions

Minnesota will need to create a few turnovers and the OC will need to dial in some correct calls on offense and have the players make plays for us to come out on the right side for this one. In a lot of games my feeling is if Minnesota plays its best it will beat the opponent. For this game...

    PJ - WI Home?

Wow!! PJ and Heather are interested in Lake homes in the upper Midwest. Maybe they should look at getting one in the Twin Cities (oh thats right they do). I bet next time you are on a flight you will notice Heather watching a show about plastic surgeon in Iowa City and the speculation will...

Cameron Begalle Commits to Gophers! (UPDATE: 11/13 - Cameron de-commits from MN)

You win some. You lose some. Sometime you win the ones you lose. Wishing this kid nothing but luck, but hoping the Gophers bring in a transfer gem or a recruit that makes us feel this loss is a win.

    WORST offensive line since....

I am not an OL expert, but I do wonder if the change in scheme has played a roll in the drop off. It seems like we are more of a pro-style offense and less of a zone blocking RPO team. We know the talent is there for them to create running lanes, I just wonder if all the changes have led to...

Wisconsin staff member Jack Del Rio arrested early Friday for operating while intoxicated after a car he was driving hit a street sign & broke fence.

I heard the WI made him resign because he blew under a .20. The WI program wants coaches who can handle their liquor. They feel this may impact them being able to recruit the type of recruits they typically want to bring into the WI program. Coaching requirements: a.) Handle...
