Personally I'd be surprised if they're both back, as I don't envision either Ihnen, or Fox being a difference maker next year, but as you say, they're wildcards. This is just conjecture on my part, no inside info, but in my mind they'll be able to add an Eric Curry type element.

The reality is Evans will be a skinny, Freshman with very little offensive game, playing in the B1G. He's got all sorts of potential, but we should limit our immediate expectations. I don't expect him to be a starter next season, but I do think he can play a nice role as a defensive specialist...

Good point. I also think it was a self fulfilling prophecy to some extent. Carroll obviously struggled at the beginning of the season with speed rushers. Because of that, opposing defenses often sent their quickest pass rushers at Carroll, and seemed to blitz to his side most of he time as well.
