A lot of Athens stats were playing against weak non conference opponents or throwing 50 times against Washington when they are down a lot. Both had negative rushing yards.

Am curious if Drake will make a practice squad though.

Cherry pick whatever stats you want that’s fine. I think Drake is better. Athan had better stats. That’s it.
 




I rated him a "B" as a freshman and first year starter. If he was rated overall against quarterbacks in the conference, he would be below that. He will have to improve to maintain his ranking going forward.
 




Solid B for a redshirt fresham getting his first action as a starter.

Big off season for him, lots of things to work on heading into his redshirt sophomore year. Has a chance to be a really really good QB if he keeps working and developing.
 




I gave him a C based on playing the position, as a freshman, probably a B. He has upside, will get better. He needs improved O-Line play and better running game.
 


This year’s Drake wasn’t as good as last year’s Max, but it’ll sure be nice having him back again next season.
 




C. I thought he maybe regressed a little or was flat improvement wise. As stated above needs to improve agility more than anything, heavy feet are not ideal in today’s football quarterbacks.

Not very good on deep balls. Throws on time well, very well actually.
