What grade would you give the Gophers in the Rate Bowl win?
That's New Mexico StateNo Aggie Vision woes with this one either. Thanks ESPN
This was a test and you passed swimmingly. Happy New Year. That's New Mexico State
The bar erupted. Good enough for a B.
Wisconsin? That New Mexico coaching staff will be coaching somewhere else in the near future.
We didn't deserve to win, but we did, so there's that. They didn't either. They could/should have had 2 or 3 interceptions in the first quarter. They hung in there and won! Definitely above average.
How can you say the defense was an "A" when they gave up God knows how many first downs on third and long? Lot's of missed tackles. The defense was an "A" and the offense was a "C" so the grade is "B." I know I'm forgetting about the special teams but UNM just pulled off a rare one on that TD.

And couldn't get off the field when they should have in multiple instances. Plus, UNM could/should have had 3 interceptions in the first quarter, which would have vastly changed the game. Yes, they played as bad as we did.Because they held them to 17 points through overtime and gave up 3.1 yards per play. Also, 7 of their points were from a special teams touchdown.
That's not on the defense. Had the offense given up turnovers there I would have counted that against the offense but they didn't.UNM could/should have had 3 interceptions in the first quarter, which would have vastly changed the game.
True. Doesn't change the fact that the defense gave up multiple 3rd and longs all night long. Defense was DEFINATELY not an A.That's not on the defense. Had the offense given up turnovers there I would have counted that against the offense but they didn't.
