Pavia and Mendoza meant the most to their team's success. Mendoza gets it for taking IU to the CFP.

Seeing Pavia should be out of eligibility, I will go with Mendoza or Love.

Love is the best player overall but I think a non-QB has to have a historic season to win it. I went with Mendoza.

It will be Fernando but Diego Pavia has come along way from his first start against the Gophers in 2022

In a just world, it would be Jacob Rodriguez from Texas Tech. People have compiled his stats and put them next to Manti Te'o in 2012, and it's just a staggering comparison. Unfortunately though you need to be a QB, RB or WR to win it so he didn't even get an invite. It will be Mendoza, and of the four he is most deserving.

Too bad you can’t give it to the more deserving… IU or OSU defense. That throw/catch to comeback against Penn State though wins it for Mendoza in addition to the head to head win over Sayin’.

I've said that too, this feels like an historically weak Heisman finalist group. Mendoza's a very nice player, but he absolutely pales against most of the great QBs of the last 40 years or so.

So, if IU had called Drake Lindsey then Drake would be a Heisman trophy winner.
I don’t think drake fits their scheme well. So I don’t think so

Not sure but he has quickly become extremely unlikeable. In an interview after the ceremony, he said “f**k you to the voters”. Then held a sign that said “f**k Indiana” at a club afterwards,Was Pavia’s mom there?
Why do these guys not understand the NFL hates stupid stuff like that. He might be the most immature old college QB we’ve seen.
