Yep and in 2022 we obliterated all of our NC opponents. Even in 2021 with the BG debacle we beat Colorado 30-0 that year. This narrative that we play every game super tight is a little tiring at this point, but whatever.

PJ has some kind of aversion to blowing out demonstrably lesser teams during non-conference play. He doesn’t like to run up the score. Last night, Northwestern (the B10 version) beat that same Western Illinois team 42-7 after losing badly to Tulane.

Western Illinois might be very bad, or Northwestern is much closer to Illinois.
