Why is Bama suddenly snooping around in MN? Does Deboer have someone on his staff with connections here?
DeBoer more or less does...from South Dakota, coached at Sioux Falls who would frequently recruit here, Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan too. Washington was snooping around here too when he was there. OC Ryan Grubb also from Iowa and coached at South Dakota State.

Born in SD and former coach of Sioux Falls.

Thanks for info. Could have looked it up but knew someone here would educate me. 👍

Yuck. Assume he’ll be more successful in that endeavor with Alabama than Washington… Hopefully that PJ recruiting pipeline remains strong. The fact that we’re competing with them for recruits is nice to see.

Cool but Wiscy and Bama doing it first worries me a little
Not really. He's a Sophomore and he's likely meeting many of the coaches for the first time and getting his first slew of offers. Football is a bit different than basketball IMO, in timing of giving verbal offers.

That arm is F*****G live! Good layering on is throws too. I’m as critical of 7v7 as anyone but the raw talent is there especially for an incoming junior. It’s gonna be tough to hold on here. Whether he wins the QB job this year or not.

I think him and Betton will be solid targets for the 27 class amongst the obvious others

Not sure what the chances were like before but this certainly can’t help

I should have added a smiley face as I was joking a bit. However some form of NIL is permitted in both Minnesota and Arizona, according to this article:

I actually wouldn't doubt it he got some money.

Stumbled on this ranking. No clue about who/what this list came from. But it lists Diane at 74, super cool. It also lists Betton and 2 others from the state of MN ahead of him. Just thought it was odd.

Per his full ranking
4. Yarborough
9. Ombati
46. Feeney
60. Shatek
63. Parrish Jackson
69. Betton
74. Diane
112. Mack
128. Van Voorst

This guy either crunched insane amounts of tape or shook a magic 8 ball 150 times.
I tend to believe it is closer to the latter given the under the radar qualifier. Diane is considered a top 100 consensus 4* recruit. Not sure how you classify him as under the radar.
