Transfer Portal 2025

I disagree. Rose was an excellent ball handler, and was very instrumental in breaking the press. And knowing her skillset, she then distributed the ball. She also played fantastic defense, getting those quick little hands in and stealing passes.
Maybe I was too harsh in my comments on Rose's ball handling. She was quick, she did get steals, and she did help the team break the press. However, shooting wise, she was a detriment to the team. Her stats? Her total FG% was .207 and her 3FG% was .118. Whenever she was on the floor, the Gophers were playing 4 on 5 offensively. It's difficult to win under those circumstances. Hopefully, Glenn and whoever else they add are more well rounded players.

Updating the chart. Thought it might be useful to also see incoming 25-26 recruits. Used Raoul for IN and On3 for OUT. Happy Easter

Not sure Skim has mentioned Glenn yet. Had another one of these posts on the 18th but not the other announcement so I believe it could be that.
Skim posted that same Gopher gif for Glenn. This must be someone else.

Exciting! Looks like she'll bring a good deal to the team based on her stats from prior seasons.

Out of curiosity, is she the one you were hearing rumors about, or was that someone different? Looks like she's only 5-11 and hasn't taken a ton of threes, so just wondering if there's someone else floating around to watch out for.

Looks like we're going to have a sister act. Bigs who can shoot from the arch.

Allie Kubek from Maryland is in the portal, and that's the sort of stretch big that I would love love love to find a way to get. Whenever Maryland played teams with big posts, she'd get in there and shoot them off the floor.

Who is the one who transferred out?

Talia Goodman for On3 reporting that Minnesota is a program to watch for Mississippi State transfer Tahj Bloom. ESPN rated her the #43 recruit in high school. Redshirted last year due to injury. 4 year’s eligibility remaining.
Nice! Did she tweet this out? I follow her but don’t see it. I like the fact she would have four years of eligibility!

She would be a great get! Just what they need!

Kneepkens to UCLA. Guess we get to see her at the Barn.
Big 10 is only getting tougher. With the flip flop of home vs away, I think the Gophers big 10 schedule this year is slightly more difficult, but with more chances to get some top wins in the barn.

I grabbed this from the UConn wbb fan forum. Looks like there might be some mutual interest between Laila Pehlia and the Gophers. !?!

Yeah, according to Skim Milkey, the Gophers are going after Phelia very hard (or at least were as of last week). I've always been skeptical that we could get someone of that caliber in the portal just for money reasons and lack of minutes available. But I'd be pleasantly surprised if they were able to get her! If they did, they may end up needing another change to the starting lineup aside from swapping McKinney back out for Braun. All very interesting!

We are now in a recruiting shut down for the week. I would assume that only applies to high school kids, and that we could still go after transfer portal players. Is this correct?

Also, for what it's worth, the Instagram follows they were talking about on the UConn forum may just be coincidental. It looks like she follows a bunch of players from a bunch of different teams, including Janay Sanders as an example.
