I, for one, loved your speculation. Not long after, Tony Liebert started showing him as a possibility.
He didn't shoot it a lot from 3.......but he shot 40% when he did.
I'm sensing we are going to have shooters. Wisconsin like!

Heide has a Wisconsin-like combo of skill and size. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there.

Yes and no. Depends if he can handle presumably bigger/more athletic defenders that are at the D1 level. Some guys can do it but other guys it's why they are playing D2 or D3.

Yeah, I really like Heide's game. I think he's probably more of a 4 in the college game and would be a really interesting with Croker-Johnson. I'm not sure how often they'd be on the court together for Niko, but they both have enough size to guard most 4s, they both shoot a little.

He'll be an interesting case, if he's interested. Downright bad at free throw shooting, which goes against Nacho's MO.
0% from 3 and 58% at the free throw line....he would have fit right in last year.....this year he may be out of place!

I think he is following Buzz (or the highest bidder). Pretty funny that the core 3 Minnesota guys are all in the portal again this year. Maybe they realized that the grass isn't always greener (JOJ and Carrington at least).

Two-time Atlantic Sun 1st team (23 & 25) and POY in 2025. Must have been injured in the 24 season as he didn't play that year.
Love to have him. He should come here instead of Wisconsin. At Wisconsin, he would just look like half of the other players on the team.
