College Basketball Transfer Portal Thread - 2024

We did make it in 1997.

But regardless...it's you mud-slingers who hype up Iowa State and others just to be irritating.
I think you are confusing the hypocrisy of not hanging the banner with mud-slunging.

Wonder if we'll see Taison Chatman in the portal now that tOSU lost

I think he has big time defensive potential but I don’t believe he has the mindset for it.
Yep, unfortunately for JOJ and Henley, they could be fantastic role players if they had the right mindset.

If JOJ became a junk yard dog type and Henley really leaned into his defensive chops (he could really good on the ball and he is 6'7"), they'd both be fantastic college basketball players.

Come home!!!!!

Saw that! Would be a very good pickup. Looks like he also has two years left. He transferred from Northeastern to Colorado but sat out a year after the transfer for some reason.

CORRECTION: Looked up his profile on the Colorado BB site. He transferred from Northeastern to Indian Hills CC in Iowa for his soph year. He would then have just his 5th optional year left. Still think he'd be a good acquisition. I think Ben should go all in for next season even if that results in him having to recruit a lot of new guys for the following season.

The grass is always greener…..

He starting to look like a player that's unlikely to be happy anywhere. Granted, De Paul had an astonishingly bad season for a P6 team but they hired a coach with a history of success. You think he'd consider staying around for a new beginning. Maybe he just wants to go back to California.

Or maybe the coach suggested he move on. I bet there is a lot of that.

Patrick McCaffery portaling doesn't surprise me. I think there's been a lot of pressure on him playing for his dad, combine that with the tragic accident involving his younger brother. ... think I heard Patrick was pretty bitter with how a lot of Iowa fans treated his brother. Not to mention his cancer. Getting away should be a good thing, and Duke's not exactly a bad spot to land if that's where he ends up.
