Yea, that was good. Think Holy Man missed the reference.
Didn’t miss the reference. I’m old enough to know. I’m just not clever enough to get readers to link “Windy City” to Chicago where presumably the poster lives referring to “this town.” Failed attempt at subtlety.

Playing the posting game like Nebraska and Auburn playing hoops today.

UVa with 2 points 5.5 minutes in. Woops, Wisconsin I mean. Either way, Dick Bennett is proud.

I'll relegate myself to the NIT board so I can get better at this for your benefit.

JMU getting sloppy.
They are rough around the edges ...but they are making Wisconsin uncomfortable and I love watching this aggressiveness on D. This is what gritty looks like and it is the way I wish we would play on defense. The Gophers have more ability than this JMU team but they don't make anyone uncomfortable. Beat them off the dribble and two other guys are swarming to help and steal the ball away. Fun to watch!

The refs trying to keep Wisconsin in it from the FT line.

JMU just blew a layup that would have put them up 16 and it led to an immediate 3 to make 11. As a Gopher fan, I assume Wisconsin has a 50% shot at winning now.
I don't believe that's how the rest of the song goes

Hopefully Badger fans were smart enough to book tickets to a Broadway show for Sunday.

He'll never work in this town again.
Well, prior to college, he went to the Northfield Mount Hermon school so I guess it's not at all surprising that he took the Yale offer.
Hah!

I remember thinking we maybe cooled on him. He visited in June of 2021, but then he didn't commit to Yale until the day he received an offer in April 2022. Also had offers at some point from Harvard, Penn, and Rice so clearly he is interested in academics. I commented at the time that his Twitter page had a lot of WashU in St. Louis activity (great school for academics but D3).

Just fun seeing a guy's name pop up like that in a fun upset!
