This is our equivalent of that blocked punt game. I will forever cherish the 4 consecutive false starts with 3 rushers in front of their home turf with no crowd noise lol.
T'was glorious to watch....and it is even more glorious to see the full on panic with coaching changes for the second time...
They were holding all night long AND gophers were not really getting home. Not a great combo but yes Wisconsin was indeed getting away with holding for vast majority of game.
Although it seems like we are making huge strides in redshirts vs previous years so is every other program. what changed is the 4 game redshirt rule.
so although it seems great that we have 3 & 4 year guys stepping in on defense.....everyone else is likely in an identical situation.
I always though Coughlin would be immensely difficult to replace. But if you look at defensive stats he had only 4.5 sacks. Bottom lime is that this was a very balanced defense in terms of production.
With that being said Coughlin was a leader, and his impact and effort go well beyond the stat...
Everything you said is true. But it feels pretty good to have bragging rights once in a while. Need to relish it. PJ will make it be a more frequently occurring experience
The population center does indeed produce 2-4 kids with talent per year...they just happen to attend schools in the suburbs or private instead.
Iron sharpens iron. If a kid wants to improve their skills they need to train and play against the best competition. Can’t blame kids for making that...
Don’t want to take anything away from Burrow because he is clearly good....but the amount of time he has back there unbelievable and almost not even fair. This LSU team is STACKED across the board.
I am rooting for him in the NFL though. Seems like a great kid
