Who knows how he adapts to the new world of CFB but I would take Northwestern's results during his time there over anything we've had since 1967. The assumption is he'll have more resources at EL than he had in Evanston.

Currently 7 Iowa kids on NDSU's roster. Only 7 MN kids on SDSU's roster but 21 Iowa kids.

I think that a lot of high end FCS talent needed the FCS to develop. They needed the opportunity to develop and then thrive against similar talent. Likely to have been buried on an FBS roster when lining up against initially superior talent.
