Very few coaches walk into a perfect situation......but I still stand by my opinion that Mason had it way tougher than Fleck or Kill in terms of the state the program was in when they took over.
I'm willing to trust the evaluation of Niko and staff.....if they think he is worth recruiting I'm willing to give them and him the benefit of the doubt.
Bummer....this team just can't afford injuries to key pieces when already so short handed. Oh well, hopefully they can figure out a way to beat Oregon but it won't be easy.
The incompetence Kill followed was not even close to what Mason followed.....it just wasn't.
Mason took over a program that had been a laughingstock of college football for decades before he got there. Kill just had to overcome one terrible hire and short dip before returning the program...
Fully agree people over play the one of us angle when it comes to players, especially in basketball.
That said, I wouldn't write him off for not being able to see the floor on a good team in a good conference (Big 12 basketball is not the same as Big 12 football when comparing it to the Big...
I posted my reasoning for Mason in the 4th spot in the post above. But yes, Fleck is better in basically all statistical categories and I would have no issue with him being in the 4th spot.
The only thing I will quibble with is the state of the program that each guy inherited. Fleck inherited...
I think many of us have forgotten the complete joke this program had become prior to Mason taking over. Losing was expected and the team was a conference bottom feeder.
Mason came in and brought the program from the cellar to respectability. He had his ceiling and could never push it to the...
Bierman and Warmath are slam dunks because they won National Championships
Willimas deserves a spot even though most of us know very little about him. 22 years at the school and a lot of wins back in the first part of the 1900s.
4th spot right now to me goes to Mason. Program was in complete...
No clue on the brace but on the rest so much of what you mentioned comes with experience. As the game slows down for him he will be able to see things better and that will hopefully help his mobility some.
Guessing Drake will put a lot of effort in during the off season to do what he can to...
It is a valid question in terms of football and men's basketball. Feels like anytime the NCAA tries to step in and do anything to curtail the stupidity it just gets shot down in court.
I'm sure this latest ruling will set off a wave of players trying to get medical redshirts after the fact for...
Yeah, I would think they will work on his mobility, maybe try and cut a little weight, work on quickness. Running will likely never be a big part of his game but he can probably get better at moving in the pocket and taking off when the situation allows for it.
Just have to be able to run...
