anyone know what’s going on with wucherer? azevedo is certainly playing better, from what i’ve seen, but still a bit surprising that she barely played in this match and only back row.

this is petty, but it really warmed my heart that carter booth was a total non-factor. sat the bench most of the 3rd, negative hitting %…i don’t wish ill on the kid, but was satisfying that she laid an egg against us 🙂

from what i understand being around her sister, carter doesn't really intend to pitch in college. i guess that could change. she pitched pretty minimally for her club team the past 2 summers. mostly played SS.

As someone who played women's sports, I want to support women's sports. I find volleyball very exciting and super athletic and got into it because the Gophers have been a top team for so long. I became a season ticket holder a number of years ago now and love that I live close enough to enjoy...

from the post above: Highlight for me was seeing freshman Macy Richardson get to pitch 1 inning. Looked like she threw a rise, fast and a change. Rise/fast was 63-65 mph. Change was 50-52. Threw a great inning. Obviously a very small sample size, but it was encouraging.
