I've been lambasted here for my Fleck bashing...and some I deserve. He has raised the floor some but the ceiling is the same. The Gophers are laughable and always will be. There simply is no hope. MN sports are a joke.

I hate playing not to lose. Too bad they didn't play better...I was really hoping Athan was going to be great this year.

Bad call on 2nd and 3rd down...one of those should have been play-action and a short pass for a 1st down. Go win the game.

I used to call him PJ Brewster...which may have been a bit harsh. We've seen his ceiling...and this is it. Are we content with this as the programs ceiling? I'm not...keep swing until you hit a homerun...PJ is a double at best.

I wonder if Fleck understands why MN fans are like we are? It's disappointment after disappointment. Same crap but different year.

Fleck must have been a big fan of Zimmer's offenses.

The season is over as far as a west title goes...no chance. I think this is the year we beat IA...but will lose to PSU and WI.

This team is just bad...all the older players and they are still bad. It's best to just hope we can occasionally beat WI or maybe get a first victory against IA. That's all. Fleck will keep us from being as bad as Brewster but that's it. I will never buy the hype again.

That's what I'll be like until proven otherwise...which means I will miss out the first time. I'm convinced this team will never be anything than what they are now...which is better than years ago. We've hit our ceiling. I was wrong on Fleck...he's better than I thought hut he isn't a great coach.
