Checking my playlist, I have the Minnesota vs NMSU Game recorded. And my Channel Selections still have Altitude and Fox Southwest and I'm waiting for the confirmation that I can get Texas El Paso at New Mexico State with Jay Sanderson and Danny Knee. I am tempted to record it.

I am also scheduling a Doctor's appointment. Should I have him check to see if I am infected? Maybe Doc, Doctor Don, or others is there treatment for this?

Husker, remember I am a retired Proctologist, so I don't think I will be able to help you, unless you are really having reception problems.

Sorry Husker. It's like Cowbell. When you have a fever for Aggievision The only prescription is more Aggievision...

I have seen at least two references to AggieVision on ESPN B1G blog and at least one more on BTN. I have a feeling those guys caught the game and were left with quite an impression... just like the rest of us.

Can anyone link me? I still don't understand what ya'll are talking about.

aggievision is NMSU sports network, apparently. Not to sound too critical, but I've seen better production quality out of area high schools. Each camera angle (I think there were 2 ), seemed to have different brightness levels set. The picture quality was amazingly poor. The funniest part about it for me was how Philip Nelson faked the camera guy out at least a half a dozen times and literally ran off the screen while the camera was focused on the scrum in the middle of the field.

Steakman - This deserves an answer. Everyone that is a Gopher fan deserves to be on the inside of this joke looking out. I'll try my best:

The sky fell last week as Gopher faithful learned that the game was not televised. But that depression quickly turned to excitement as we learned the game would be broadcast via the BTN (online and via an app).

That excitement quickly turned to ELATION when we realized this was no simple stream, this was AggieVision(R), the New Mexico State University-branded live football stream.

Is AggieVision(R) presented in HD? No. That would be too easy. 240p? Too easy. AggieVision is presented with no more than 40 lines of horizontal resolution, giving each football play the impact it deserves.

Does AggieVision(R) hire professional camera operators? Again, no. AggieVision uses NMSU drama/theater majors (unconfirmed) that have never actually seen football being played. Why follow the ball when you can follow the man the camera operator THINKS has the ball? Why pan out to show context for a punt return, when you can zoom in on the punt returner's hands, adding to the suspense of not knowing the current yard-line or whether there are defenders in pursuit.

Who sponsors AggieVision(R)? Even though it was hard to see at times on screen, global brands like "CASA DE AUTOS" are the financial backers of this new football-viewing experience.

The true customer value proposition that AggieVision(R) brings to market is as follows: "We like to distract our fans from the actual football that is being played because we are a terrible football team".

Now I am going to hell for making fun of hard-working students.

Oh, and it quickly became a hashtag:

Example:
Bill: "My glasses are all smudgy. I can't see a thing"
Tom: "You got AggieVisioned"

Don't forget these great Aggievision experiences

1 The incredible sound quality. I think it was in Dolby Surround, or very, very close

2 Why hold up game play for TV commercials? Play on!

3 It's always more important to show a coach or player on the sideline doing nothing of significance (i.e. Phillip on the phone) while plays are being run on the field

I have not deleted the Aggievision experience from my DVR playlist, just so I can re-live the wonder....

You guys need to stop - my office mate is looking at me funny because I can't stop cracking up

Re: the dog....I spent the majority of the game thinking this was a twitter joke, then I finally saw the famed wonder dog (TM?) in the fourth quarter. Amazing!

I love it. I've got to have it. Who am I to question Bruce Dickenson?

If you're hooked the obvious fix is an AggieVision subscription at just $9.99 a month. They also show volleyball games. Imagine an AggieVision camera man trying to follow a volleyball being bumped, setted, and spiked across the court back and forth. And we already know they don't understand that panning out will give you the whole court. No doubt they'd be zoomed in to one side of the court or one player at a time.

I am debating about this in my mind... not sure if I will take the time, but I am at least considering putting together a youtube highlight package of Aggievision coverage of the Gopher/Aggie game. Don't hold your breath, but I'm thinking about it.

LOL - With all this debating and thinking you're doing you could be an Aggievision cameraman. Actual I don't believe they did think. They were more of the point and shoot school of camera work. In all seriousness it could be an interesting project. If you do decide to do it maybe you could put it on U-tube. Let us know if you do.

I have a Belinda Jenson Kare 11 piece all ready to go as well, I did it waaaaay back last spring and just haven't gotten around to uploading it to youtube yet. Perhaps I will create the Aggievision one and post them both at the same time.

I was a radio/tv/film major at UW-Oshkosh. We had 3 cameras, including one on the announcers. NMSU isn't serious about their tv program imo.

What's the thesis/focus of this one? I'm curious because I can't STAND her.

I'll send you a PM because if I say it now and continue to fail to get it uploaded, someone else will easily dupe my idea and have it up in no-time. If I had more time and energy, I have another two or three I could be building to follow the one I already have done.

This should be good. If there was ever a match made in hell, it would have to be aggievision and the weather bimbo.

Okay... Here is Belinda Jensen:

I'll try to do AggieVision before the weekend. Unfortunately I can't do it tonight because my TV and DVR are in use.

The bottom line is that Belinda Jenson is fantastic! Bring on your AggieVision!

Be sure to include the feedback from the PA whenever the referee turns on his field mike. Belinda in Aggie Vision that is the bottom line.
