Hopefully, Niko would tell the guy in advance, who he is giving a gift...now, just to be clear if Cade somehow gets eligible and comes back or we get a foreign national team player whose Dad got transferred to the Twin Cities or 35 other similar possibilities....you are still here but..you are now a manager. Understand? Cool!
I don't think that would be problem....the problem is the $2-3 million dollars to be competitive in the marketplace. Or if he really likes it here....we'd still need a million bucks. It's why he's hoping to play....money.

Very few teams are sitting on an open scholarship in mid-July. That is not the issue. We would make that happen. It's more about the $$.
 

If Cade gets approved, many of the Blue Bloods will be after him and will find a roster spot and the money to bid for him.

Blake Nixon, he's an injured walk on, there are probably managers better than him
 


Honestly how much could he get from someone? 3M? 4M? 2M?

I feel like someone would pay him a lot, but I dont think hes a go to #1 on a top 10 team. More like a #3 dedicated scorer?

May as well, like Tyson he has limited NBA potential so makes sense to try and get one final year of college eligibility to try and cash in on no rules landscape and get what he can.

Would think anyone that played 4 years and wasn't drafted would want to try and get in on this.

For sure... only issue is the timing. How many roster spots will be available? Next will be lawsuits for damages because of the late ruling to make an extended one time exception for next year.
 

As soon as these guys win their lawsuit, all the players whose eligibility expired in 2025 and didn’t get a COVID year are filing a lawsuit.

Mike Mitchell for example, played 2 seasons at Pepperdine and 2 here.

Sounds about right. The time between seasons has basically become lawsuit season anyway. Need a law degree to truly follow college sports at this point.
