So why is Cade returning to the Gophers even a discussion? Our roster is full at 15 players. Even though it's obvious Niko would welcome Cade back, which commitment would he give the boot to take him? I don't believe Niko plays games like that.

Hopefully, Niko would tell the guy in advance, who he is giving a gift...now, just to be clear if Cade somehow gets eligible and comes back or we get a foreign national team player whose Dad got transferred to the Twin Cities or 35 other similar possibilities....you are still here but..you are now a manager. Understand? Cool!
I don't think that would be problem....the problem is the $2-3 million dollars to be competitive in the marketplace. Or if he really likes it here....we'd still need a million bucks. It's why he's hoping to play....money.
