I want this dude bad. I watched a brief Michigan podcast that covered their transfers, and both hosts lamented losing this guy. Sounds like he had some injuries, but thought even as stacked as they were, he would have contributed if it hadn't been for that.

Looks like Colorado St offered him out of HS too so he probably had at least some interaction with Medved at some point. Colorado St offered him pretty early.

He started at Colorado State and at the beginning of the year at UNC and he would certainly start for MN. For purposes of pricing the portal he's a starting PG.

I’d like to see them also add that 7’2 German dude from Michigan. He’s got a lot of athletic ability for someone so big, and Michigan fans seem pretty bummed he hit the portal.

Not to mention he’s only a freshman and he’s 22 years old 😅

I don't think I've ever seen a series of recruiting photos where the nonverbal so loudly screams "Get me the eff outta here!" He looks absolutely disinterested. The post text "??" just helps to convey the "I was a natty champ last year, what am I doing with my life right now?" This might all just be for show for both sides, or maybe he's acting nonchalant to drive up his price, but I'm having my doubts here

Yeah....I'm sure he was forced to take those pictures. I mean, he had no choice. LIke, you don't get to eat unless you sit for a photo shoot. We're canceling your plane ticket back home unless you flex in this one....I mean, who could pass up a trip to Minneapolis in April even if you had no interest in going to school there?

What a ridiculous take......SMH

Yeah....poster is trying really hard to invent something that isn't there. Why would a transfer waste time taking a visit to a school they had no interest in attending?

Has he visited anywhere else prior to mn?? (I legit have no clue)... Same reason a coach takes a call about another job... Leverage for more $$...

Relatives or friends in town. Used to happen all the time. The urgency of the portal probably reduces that chance, but there are reasons a recruit would take a free trip to some places not at all interested in.

A high school recruit maybe like in football wanting to take all 5 visits. Would see it all the time those wanting to visit iHawaii. I just don't see it for a college transfer in today's short portal period.

Yeah....a high school kid might take all 5 visits even if they know where they want to go just to get wined and dined and have fun on a recruiting weekend. Transfer recruiting is very very different.

No transfer is taking a visit just to take one. If a player goes somewhere it is because there is legit interest on both sides.

Silly to look at pics the player posted from his visit and somehow interpret that to mean the player wasn't interested in being there....just a weird way to look at things.
 





I just surfed the Iowa boards and some think Evans will be Golden.. It appears that the Hogeyes are pushing hard for guard TyReek Coleman and big Andrew McKeever. Nebraska and Cincinnatti appear to be the main competition.
I am 50/50 on Evans being a Gopher. He has his warts and some plus's and is a one year and done guy.
