Jerry Kill at the Basketball Game

They introduced Jerry Kill at the Gopher game today, and he was received nicely. He even got a Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! chant from the student section.
 



After the game ended, Tubby gave him an extended handshake...nice touch.
 




I was in the student section so I didn't get to see any recruits. ESPN's recap of the game said he was sitting with Marqueis. Either way, it's gotta be a good feeling for him
 





Tommy Olsen was there, as was Bjorklund. Bjorklund's frame screems division 1 lineman. He is tall,and thick. He also looks like he could add mass fairly easily. Sign him up.

Kill is a breath of fresh air and will win games here. Good hire, even if by accident Good hire is good hire.
 

The Winter Wonder Land is a beautiful thing! Were they able to get in? If so,maybe they will be snowed in until signing day. Great strategy!
 



I thought the good reception for Kill was instantaneous and enthusiastic. It was a nice moment. He did a B+ job on the rouser. Fun moment.
 

Many people were concerned that Kill wouldn't be able to build enthusiasm, those concerns appear to be thankfully unfounded.
 

i spotted kill at our local holiday station handing out gopher windshield scrapers.

I can say with 100% certainty that he was at the Saturday game in January of 2007 when the Gophers played Denver on Hockey Day in Minnesota.

He was interviewed in between periods by the Fox Rocky Mountain TV crew, due to his Bronco ties.

We need to have the big football scoreboard play the Mrs. Vorhees (Jason's mother) sound clip from Friday the 13th. You could always dub in the words "Kill 'em Jerry, kill 'em" instead of "Kill her mommy, kill her".
