duke choking is always a joy
I don't really care for UConn, but I hate Duke with every fiber of my being.
That was glorious.
The one year I didn't do a bracket with money involved, I have the final 4 perfect.Bad for my bracket but still fun to see Duke choke.
The downside of a lot of freshmen being your top players.Far worse than UNC’s loss. The last 3 years when Duke has gotten knocked out their composure late has been terrible. I am not sad about any of this. Duke Elimination Day is second only to Eat it Yankees Day.
It’s probably more Dodgers now than Yankees, but the idea is golden.
And John WoodenDon’t forget Adrian Dantley…
This was the first thing I thought of live.
Yep, get it in and wait to get fouled. 2 made free throws seals the game. Only thing you can't do is turn the ball over......insane finish. How did Duke lose that game? They didn't have to pass half court since the clock was at 10 seconds exactly. No need to pass forward, just pass backward to an open person. If you're stuck, you have a timeout. It is unbelievable that they lost that game.
It feels like Hurley has dialed it down a notch on the "crazy" meter during this run.It takes a lot to get me jumping off my couch and screaming, but that steal and 3 did it. Hell of a comeback against that team in that game and in that situation. Hurley is a massive tool, but damn can he coach.

Not sure about that. Am I crazy in saying this should be a technical no matter what?It feels like Hurley has dialed it down a notch on the "crazy" meter during this run.
Why didn’t they show Carlos Boozer after that play?

People would normally move their ear towards the other person talking, not forehead. They'll never call it there on him but I can't imagine most coaches would get away with it in most situations. The "no matter what" is crazy, based on the context.
He was giddy after his team just went ahead with 0.3 seconds in an amazing fashion on par with Hill/Laettner to likely propel his team to the Final 4 after being down 19 points. It was extremely loud, I think he was just leaning in to hear what the ref was saying.
Just guessing, he was getting an explanation on resetting the clock to 0.4 seconds. Zero acrimony.
No way that deserves a tech. Not a chance.
