That’s incredible! Way to go fans for helping the Gophers. The players never wavered. Sweet 16! This has been a long time, thanks to the players for doing what they said they wanted to make Gophers relevant again. Thanks to the coaches for getting them there and to the administration for finally letting them hosts.

Those of you who follow the women’s game more closely than I do, please tell me why their refs are so terrible? Ole Miss whined but I thought our players were getting mugged close to the basket all day. Key charge on them goes as a block in third quarter and it wasn’t close. 
Great win, deservedly putting these young women in the minds and hearts of Gopher fans for a generation. I think they will be employable when basketball is over!

The announcers didn't know the score at the most important moment. Tied 63-63 and suggesting Ole Miss foul...
Brutal. Where is the voice in their head telling them to stop.

Ole Miss played great defense today, but their aggressive style cost them their best player and maybe the game.
She seems hesitant to shoot to me.

Way to go Gophers! After watching, playing, and coaching much basketball for most of my life, I often reach a level where if the announcers irritate me three times I turn them way down for a while, or even off!
The Gopher radio feed is usually 15 to 20 seconds behind actual play, so that doesn’t work…
IMHO, I felt the announcers talked too much about how wonderful Mississippi was and not enough on how well the Gophers were playing …
That being said, I still like my idea of letting the players call their own fouls and letting the referees just sit and watch!
After all, in all my years of playing ball and coaching, the players often called their own fouls, and we were fine!
I would also like to have the team come out great in the third quarter and then “coast” to the end rather than these rallies that are getting my medicated blood pressure up …

She's struggling and has been a liability on the floor. They need her to play well if they want to lose by less than 20 to UCLA.
