Dickie V & The Round Mound of Rebound are joined for the 1st time ever on the First 4 Texas vs NC State game. Not much time for the play-by-play guy, always steady Brian Anderson (who seems to be battling a bug of some sort).

Best line of the night:

Anderson: These two teams met earlier this season in Maui.

Barkley: Why didn't we do THAT game?!?

I loved Barkley ripping the NCAA a new one regarding NIL. It was a good 3 minute rant between Barkley and Dickie V on the NCAA getting a backbone and establishing some rules.

The Round Mound is more of an Ozempic Ant Hill these days.
 




The worst part was when they were talking about who their favorite coaches are. Of course, they list the most successful coaches, all of which are their friends.
 




I love Barkley, but he should never be announcing games. I loved when there was a second left and he doesn’t even know the rules and he’s asking if they can advance the ball. He’s also asking if they have any timeouts left, which you can just look at the fucking scoreboard and see for yourself.

Not sure anyone outside of NCST and Texas fans need to care about this. I thought it was fun and distracted me from the brutal basketball being played. Yes the ending was good, but the game was horrendous. Two mid teams shooting 30% and brick after brick after brick until the last couple minutes. 38 fouls, 49 FT's attempted. 84 missed shots and FT's in the game.

He is granted relief under two conditions.

Outside agency, typically involved when an animal interferes with the ball, but there is a special Dangerous Animal Condition, that also allows relief.

Ruling, no penalty, drop at nearest point of total relief, no nearer the hole.

And Barkley is a POS

Well I was watching and it was a great ending. I think the least you can ask from him is to know the rules. He has been doing March Madness coverage for years.

I get your point which is fair, just that for a one-off First 4 contest it did not bother me. He's not auditioning for more games.

It was different. Barkley reveres Vitale, had wanted to do this for a long time. It was fun.

Now he can go back to the studio.
 




Cam Heide vs Tre Holloman last night. Heide in foul trouble the whole game, neither played that well. I believe that is it for Tre in the ncaa
 

Leigh not looking too good, 21ppg Delasalle native shooting 2-14, 1-6 from 3pt land. Should see him in the portal soon
