***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT INDIANA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Nothing to counter Alexis with opens up the rest of the floor. Doubles just leave their shooters open.

Second game in a row where we are just getting lit up in this zone. Giving up 62% FG on any looks they want.
They might have to go man to man in the 2nd. Only Asuma has 2 fouls so we should be okay in man. As big of an issue is that we are not hitting our shots. We can't compete in these games without shooting 40% or better from three point range. If we were there, it would be a 6 point game. Asuma and Durkin have had the shots and not hit tonight.

We are not out of this yet.

Ok. Apparently we’re back to calling charging flops today. What a joke.

Indiana has done a good job in scouting how to break the zone and they have played very good defense. When we do get good looks we haven't made the shot. Unless there is a breakdown by Indiana, this doesn't seem to be our night.

Reynolds’s and furling having poor nights

Rough night for Reynolds. Nothing is dropping around the rim.

Honestly, this is how I thought the majority of games would go for us this year, but have been pleasantly surprised all year.

I think they can forget this one, beat NU at home on Senior night, and come in with some confidence for the B1G tourney.

We were due? They were well prepared for our zone.

lol. And Grove barely hits the net on a FT attempt.

Man, this game should count two losses in the standings.

Indiana has been good, but the Gophers have been so bad. The whole team. WTF

Tyson has been forced to do what he can himself tonight. We’ll miss him. He’s came a long way despite the early @FinnGopher scouting report.

Niko will end up 2-1 in the round robin of former Drake coaches, if my count is correct.

Edit: I guess we still have the conference tournament ahead.

Nobody shot it decent tonight except Tyson. Isaac- 15 shots to get 13 points 0-7 from three. Yipes. Then you have the missed layups- probably 10 of them. Contested layups for sure, but those are shots you make at this level. Defense wasn't great tonight either. Ah well, so many good efforts...this one is a clinker.

Best defense against the Gophers in the Big Ten. They were well prepared and played hard.

Well, that sucked. In retrospect we should've seen it coming.

Indiana had everything to play for with the tourney, senior night, plus they wanted revenge for us beating them in December. And we were long overdue for a noncompetitive stinker with this skeleton crew.

Running the quick numbers, tiebreakers, and schedule, we need the following to get to the 11 seed (and avoid playing in the afternoon 12 v 13 game on Wednesday):

Washington over USC tonight
Gophers over Northwestern Saturday
UCLA over USC Saturday
Oregon over Washington on Saturday

That would leave us as the #11 seed and only 8-12 team in the B1G. Anything else and we'll lose the tiebreaker against USC or Washington.

Tall order but...let's beat Northwestern regardless.

To Niko’s credit, Niko made some good soup out of leftovers. Tyson is a shining example of what Niko can do with people who have lost their mojo.

To Tyson’s credit he has been consistently good since the early exhibition games. Much more than a spot up shooter that can’t create his own offense.

Ugliest game of the season. Reynolds was terrible. I won't miss him as much as some.
