As I watch a ton of videos about Indiana's rise, success and, finally, B1G and National Championships, I find hope for the Gophers. Maybe not next year, but sometime. My hope is that I get to see us get back to that level, but I know my sons, huge Gopher fans, will see that rise for our Gophers.

It wasn't a miracle. They built something last year. They weren't satisfied with "a really good season by Indiana football standards" and they took steps to get to the next level.

Indiana proved that with a proper investment in the program even a P4 doormat can rise to the top. Doesn’t give me hope unless we start seeing the investment.

We can.
1. Fleck and coyle need to get a corporate donor program or SOME FRICKING funding program going.
2. To get cigi level, fleck will need a brain transplant and cut the bullshit and do EVERYTHING to get a OC and DC dynamic minds here. The 2 we have are complete failures. We will not win with them.
3. So until fleck goes on a retreat with cigi and cigi tells fleck to pull his head out of his yapping ass we will be what we are at best.

Why was it a miracle?

Cignetti, was an assistant coach for 28 yr, before he became a head coach. All 136 Div 1 teams passed on him hundreds of times. Gophers passed on him 5 times. Nobody, I mean nobody saw this coming. A miracle.
